The Committee on Accreditation for Advanced Cardiovascular Sonography's (CoA-ACS) public comments period on the proposed CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in Advanced Cardiovascular Sonography ended on April 23, 2026. The proposed Standards can be reviewed at the link below. A virtual Open Hearing on the CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Education Programs in Advanced Cardiovascular Sonography is scheduled for May 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs is hiring an Accreditation Assistant. The Accreditation Assistant is responsible for supporting the activities of the Accreditation Services team, the Executive Director, and the general public in four main areas: 1) coordination and collection of accreditation recommendations and actions; 2) maintenance and updates of institutional and sponsor records in the Accreditation Management System and public-facing directory; 3) Communication with the public, Commission members, and institutions; 4) administrative support for the organization. The Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC/STSA) is hiring for two positions: a Communications Manager and an Operations Coordinator. The ARC/STSA is the Committee on Accreditation that works with and reviews Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting programs as they move through the accreditation process.
Candidates must possess the ability to work independently, unsupervised, and as part of a team to accomplish work goals. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously are essential. Candidates must act ethically, safeguard confidential information, and have a track record of integrity.
