The 2026 CAAHEP Accreditation Workshop, held July 17–18 at the Embassy Suites Denver Downtown, brought together more than 250 participants from across the country to strengthen their understanding of the CAAHEP accreditation process and share best practices in allied health education.
Through educational sessions and peer collaboration, attendees explored topics related to accreditation, assessment, curriculum development, clinical education, and program effectiveness. Participants particularly valued the opportunity to network with colleagues, exchange ideas, and learn innovative approaches to support continuous improvement.
One attendee noted that networking with other university personnel "provided valuable opportunities to learn best practices and explore strategies to further strengthen academic programs and enhance student success." Another highlighted that "the Workshop was an outstanding forum for sharing emerging approaches to assessment, curriculum mapping, clinical education, and program effectiveness."
The strong attendance and positive feedback underscore the workshop's continued value as a premier professional development opportunity for allied health education leaders and accreditation professionals.
